Max Drain is the result of the long term study of the ideal underdrainage pipes by Taiyo Kogyo based on the intormation collected during the development and design of the underdrainage and on the requests and opinions of the project such as "excellent anti-clogging capability" and other features to make this product of the underdrainage pipes.
A proventive method to liquefaction which provides maximum reliability while avoiding effect on peripheral ground and buildings. The method uses piling of spiral drain which is a cylindrical polyethylene drain into sand ground to dissipate excessive pore water pressure generated by an earthquake and to prevent liquefaction of the sand ground. The Spiral Drain Method will surely satisfy the customer's need.
Spiral Drain Method
In the construction of a tide-wall, a breakwater or a pier, a difference in water level on both sides would cause a rapid filtration of sea-water from the high water level side to the other. When the flow speed of the sea-water is great, sand is washed away from underneath such a structure. Consequently, its rubble mound will subside or its caissons will incline.
In order to provent this sanddrifting phenomenon, we developed various kinds of "Filter Sheet" (non-woven geotextile) .
